What is VoIP?
VoIP stands for Voice-over-Internet Protocol. VoIP works by sending your phone calls over your high-speed Internet connection instead of using the traditional telephone network. Your voice is converted to a digital signal that is sent in packets over the internet. If the person receiving the phone call has a traditional phone line then your digital voice signal is converted back to an analog signal.
